A. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Overview
The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the business development team in identifying, evaluating, tracking, coordinating and developing energy project opportunities in Vietnam, including solar, wind (onshore/offshore), and microgrid. The role bridges technical, commercial, and administrative activities, helping ensure projects move efficiently through development stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Pipeline Support
- Assist in tracking and maintaining the project pipeline (greenfield, co-development, M&A).
- Conduct desktop research and data gathering (e.g. solar/wind resource, land availability, grid connection).
- Support preliminary screening and scoring of projects based on internal criteria (e.g. PDP8 alignment, location, resource, policy fit).
- Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate across internal departments (legal, technical, finance) and with external partners (landowners, authorities, co-developers).
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones using PM tools.
- Support internal reporting and preparation of materials for investment committees and board.
- Documentation & Due Diligence
- Assist with managing documentation for each project: maps, letters, MoUs, NDAs, permits, data rooms.
- Coordinate with legal and technical teams to support due diligence and transaction readiness.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Schedule and support meetings with provincial authorities, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action items.
- Policy & Regulatory Monitoring
- Stay updated on energy market trends, regulatory developments, and grid constraints in Vietnam.
- Summarize insights for BD team to support positioning and advocacy.
B. REQUIREMENT:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, project development, or consulting is a plus
- Familiarity with project lifecycle from concept through pre-FEED or investment decision is preferred.
Skills
- Open-minded, growth mindset
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good communication in Vietnamese and English (verbal and written).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic GIS tools is a plus.
